Larmer Tree Festival 2016

Although we’ve sadly stopped trading as a monthly market, a group of us who all met through the market were at Larmer Tree Festival last week for five days of fabulous vintage fun in the sun (and the clouds and rain too). We loved our time there surrounded by the wonderful sights, sounds and spectacles of the festival and can’t believe it’s all over for another year!

Thanks to everyone who popped in to see us and to all the organisers and volunteers at the festival. We’re already looking forward to next year…

“It is with great sadness and reluctance that we have to announce the end of Boscombe Vintage Market today.

Unfortunately this means that there will be no market this Saturday.

This was a very hard decision to make, but over the last few months we haven’t seen as many customers as we used to, and as a result we were beginning to lose many of our loyal traders too. We tried to find a different approach and also go back to a monthly market but it just wasn’t working.
Thank you to everyone who has bought from us, came and had a browse, stuck with us over the years, and for your continual support on Facebook too, we tried to keep it going for you!

As we are shutting down BVM, we are also looking to do something new too so we will keep you posted with any updates for the future.

Can’t put it any better myself. We’ve had the loveliest customers, and made some wonderful friends, and enjoyed ourselves hugely. But all good things come to an end eventually, and we just couldn’t keep going in the Royal Arcade any longer. Keep an eye out for us “popping up” here and there, and in some way, shape or form – we’ll be back.

Here we go again!

Clear your diaries for this weekend… Saturday 6th March, 10am-4pm, in the Royal Arcade, Boscombe; come & see your favourite traders and their vintage, handmade and upcycled wares, and welcome some new faces too!

VintageMaid Angie will have a sale of vintage knitting patterns: instead of the usual 50p each, they’ll be 30p each or 4 for £1! For those who don’t knit, these make brilliant card fronts; some will have you in stitches of a different sort…

February Market 2016

Another bustling Boscombe Vintage Market has been and gone, and despite the wind and rain outside there was plenty of colour and heaps of vintage/handmade charm inside to wash away the winter blues. Thanks to everyone who braved the weather and came along!

The next date for your diary is Saturday 5th March, and as usual we’ll be in the Royal Arcarde, Bournemouth (BH1 4BT) from 10am – 4pm. See you there!

On TOMORROW, 2nd January!

We’re on TOMORROW, Saturday 2nd January, 10am – 4pm, in our usual wonderful venue, Boscombe’s Royal Arcade! And many of us will be having a SALE, so you’ll be able to pick up lots of vintage & retro goodies at very special prices!

From now on, we’ll be back to monthly markets, on the first Saturday of every month; can’t wait to see you there!

December Market

It’s time for another market and as always there’ll be a wonderful array of vintage and handmade goodies, with lovely live music too. That’s what we call Christmas shopping!

So come along and see us this Saturday 5th December 2015 in the Royal Arcade, Boscombe (BH1 4BT) from 10am – 4pm.
