Larmer Tree Festival 2016

Although we’ve sadly stopped trading as a monthly market, a group of us who all met through the market were at Larmer Tree Festival last week for five days of fabulous vintage fun in the sun (and the clouds and rain too). We loved our time there surrounded by the wonderful sights, sounds and spectacles of the festival and can’t believe it’s all over for another year!

Thanks to everyone who popped in to see us and to all the organisers and volunteers at the festival. We’re already looking forward to next year…

“It is with great sadness and reluctance that we have to announce the end of Boscombe Vintage Market today.

Unfortunately this means that there will be no market this Saturday.

This was a very hard decision to make, but over the last few months we haven’t seen as many customers as we used to, and as a result we were beginning to lose many of our loyal traders too. We tried to find a different approach and also go back to a monthly market but it just wasn’t working.
Thank you to everyone who has bought from us, came and had a browse, stuck with us over the years, and for your continual support on Facebook too, we tried to keep it going for you!

As we are shutting down BVM, we are also looking to do something new too so we will keep you posted with any updates for the future.

Can’t put it any better myself. We’ve had the loveliest customers, and made some wonderful friends, and enjoyed ourselves hugely. But all good things come to an end eventually, and we just couldn’t keep going in the Royal Arcade any longer. Keep an eye out for us “popping up” here and there, and in some way, shape or form – we’ll be back.

Eeek, squeak – time for May’s market!

We’re on this Saturday, 7th May, 10am to 4pm in the Royal Arcade as usual. The doors will be open, the sun will be shining, and hip-hip-hooray, there’ll be no scaffolding! Temping pics to follow…

April Market 2016

There was some sad news last month, as one of our traders – Jo from Eliza: Interiors & Design – sadly passed away. She was a pleasure to trade alongside and will be hugely missed by everyone at the market. Her husband, Bobby, did a stall in her memory with some of her beautiful handmade creations. ❤

From now on, we’ll be back to monthly markets, on the first Saturday of every month; can’t wait to see you there!
